Richard Howle is a respected and recognised figure in the UK live entertainment and ticketing industry, known for his deep understanding of commercial strategy, data interpretation, and audience behaviour.

RICHARD HOWLE
Over a 25+ year career, he has held senior leadership roles at the NEC Group, Really Useful Theatres (now LW Theatres), and AKA Promotions, shaping some of the most significant campaigns, venue strategies, and ticketing systems in the sector.
Most recently, Richard was part of the leadership team at ABBA Voyage, where he was responsible for all areas of public consumer revenue, including ticketing, food & beverage, and merchandise. His experience spans the full spectrum of live entertainment — from West End theatre to international touring, sport, exhibitions, and arena-scale music events.
Richard has worked across the industry: for producers and promoters, in venues, and as the head of a national ticket agency — giving him a unique 360-degree view of the ticketing and live events ecosystem.
As the founder of RH Insights, Richard combines first-hand experience in large-scale venue operations and agency-side campaign planning with a passion for technology and the future of AI-driven decision-making. He was a long-standing Director of STAR, a frequent speaker at major industry conferences, and a contributor to publications including IQ Magazine and The Stage.
